That covers two very different kinds of ground — the flat, clay-heavy South Plains around Lubbock, and the caliche, rock and sand of the Basin itself — and the approach changes with it. Fifteen to forty-five miles out, on ranch and county-road ground: caliche driveways, shop and barndominium pads, stock ponds, ag terraces and lease roads. Most of these towns have no local dirt contractor of their own, which is exactly why we work them.

Farther out — where the job has to justify the haul

We do work these towns, and we have pages on the ground conditions in each. Straight answer though: at a hundred miles and up, mobilization is a real line on the quote, so these tend to be larger jobs — a pond, a ranch road system, a full site package — rather than an afternoon with a blade.

Not on the list? The edges of a service area are softer than a map makes them look. If your job is within reasonable reach of one of these cities, it is worth a call — larger jobs justify a longer haul, and we would rather tell you straight than have you guess.
